I so voted Bill Nye the Science Guy. I mean, come on. The guy was wonderful, you can't deny.

But hey, Optimus Prime would be awesome too.

Now that would be funny. My sister and I went to a Best Buy opnening with the box there. She HATED the box. So we turn an isle and see sees this 6 foot box (see was 8 then) and SCREAMS and runs in the opposite direction as fast as she could. That was funny!

Sparky- do u remember us at nats on Greased Lightening, the loud girls singing the bill nye the science guy song
"bill, bill, bill...bill nye the science guy" heehee
good times, good times...lol, and not to worry sheri did not fall out of the coaster..LOLOL, later,

The Dancing Deans and Woodies

How bout more than one mascot

A bunch of choreographed dancers dressed as Woodie and Dean.

The Woodies would have Woodie's differnt outfits (Tux with tennis shoes and pinclad vest) and dance around the playing field doing the infamous point at the team and rub the robots. The diffenent ones could be also waving around differnt team's flags.

The dancing Deans could have choreographed numbers using his different inventions. They could have him on an iBot balancing the 2001 ramp, going up and down the 2000 ramp and grabbing the bar and doing chinups, or going up and down stairs. They could have also him on segway cris crossing the area going in and out of the new playing field gates. All of the Deans would be wearing the trademake denim.

All of this would be choreographed to Sandstorm by Darude (the offical theme song of FIRST).

This sequence could be started by the Real Woodie pointing to his eyes making sure all the dancers had their safety glasses on and saying his trademark 1-2-3- GO!!! followed by the offical FIRST trumpet blast.

Throught the whole jig you would here the offical FIRST false start Fog Horn blast and the new offcial FIRST "differnet parts of the round" bell chimes. You could even have the team number LCD's above the playing stations flash "DEAN" and "WOODIE" and the time LCD's flash "FIRST."

All of this culminated by the official FIRST buzzer.

We already have the dancing judges and refs. I think the next step would be the danicing Deans and Woodies.
