Why do you do what you do?

I have never been asked why i do what i do. I am the team welder, i took a class at the local community college. It is just where i fit into the team for the season. But now four other team mates are going to take the class and i am going to take it with them so i can guide them a long. That way so next year i won't be so busy with welding i can learn other stuff about the robot. I am now also the Redondo team captain. (We have two schools combined and i represent Redondo Union High School) I do this stuff because...well first inspired me to become me. I now understand who i am better and what i want to do do. I know that sounds cheesy but it is the truth. I also contribute to the team by doing expeditions, getting Lego leagues, and doing fundraising events. I do all of this because my robotics team has become like a family to me, and we all do our part to contribute to the mission of FIRST.
