Suggestion and question...

1) It would be nice if we could see how many total posts we've made. I suspect you've disabled that for a reason, but I'm not sure what it is...

2) Does the custom title under your username (e.g. "First Scouting" for Jack) become available after a certain number of posts, or is it a discretionary mod thing?

Yes, the custom title comes after a certain number of posts. Don't know what that number is but I’m sure someone else does.

And if you want to know how many posts you have do a search for all your posts(easy way to do this is find your name on your team’s list and press the nifty little search button) and look at the number of results returned.

First, you really shouldn't care about your post count. Just post meaningful, informative things and you will get a custom title in a fairly short amount of time.

Second, posts in chit-chat don't count towards your official post count.

Third, the number of posts needed can be found in http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...hreadid=14078, or in the official faq: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/mi...=faq&page=1#7.

Fourth, Brandon always has the final say in whether or not you get the title. If you spam the boards, post nonsense, etc it could take much, much longer than normal.

Well, obviously. I hate it when people spam the boards. I just like to know, for example, how many times I post a day, how many total posts I've had.

It's nothing major. I figured that something like that was the reason. Just aquestion.

i know you get past junior member at 50 posts, the next level after 100 posts and then after 150 posts you get custom title, that is the normal for this forum.

That's pretty close, but Brandon always has the power of adjustment.
