I devoured books when I was younger. I remember the Hardy Boys, Peewee Scouts, Boxcar Children...
Had moved onto Crition and read his entire collection by the middle of 4th grade, and did book reports. 6thgrade was Mitchner. I was able to understand the general concepts, but went back and reread Space last year and got so much more out of it. Like all the sexual innuendo. Wetzel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 6th grade is different from 12th grade. By a lot.
