THANKS 222!

To repeat, thanks 222 for filling the competition void after the official FIRST season. We all were going through withdrawal.

Congrats to the winning alliance - 341, 25, and 225. Terrific job in eliminations! Thanks to 284 and 639 for being GREAT alliance partners. That semi-final match comeback by 284 and 639 was fantastic!

Thanks to 176 for bringing "Tubby" the bin with wheels. One of my favorite memories of the event is when MOE stacked Tubby and drove over to return it to Aces High. After MOE lowered Tubby and backed away, Tubby just drives off. Classic.

This event had more competition than some regionals!

Thanks to all the people who made it that way.

See you at the Duel on the Delaware in October. Especially whoever wants another shot at flipping 25, who were the first team to sign up!

Duel on the Delaware

No video, but I uploaded a pict of Tubby winning the limbo here . I'm really glad that Ace High brought him (her?) along. Tubby's antics were one of the things which made this year's PARC truly memorable. I nearly burst when Moe gave him a hug! (there I was, fumbling with my camera and not getting the shot, darn it)

Aloha Everyone!

PARC was an awesome event...not like that hasn't been said many times already. =) Good job!

Driving was a lot of fun...even if I did get us flipped. But like you guys keep saying, there's always Duel on The Delaware...

Anyway, who did win the KOH?

That was one of the greatest, funniest things I've ever seen. Definitely made the two and a half hour drive worth it .

Once again I have to thank 222 for putting on a great event. I'll definitely be there next year, I just hope I can get FURY to go with me too .

Well, I have to point out that the impact inflicted upon your robot is approximately equal to that which impacted us I have to say that one thing I am proud about this year's bot is that it's been so consistent and haven't had any need of any repair that takes more than around 10 minutes and even that was rare... luckily this was a good thing when 25 started banging us... no dents, 25. Better luck next year

Oh yeah, guys on MOE or any other team, if you have pics with our team in it, I'd greatly appreciate them. Tell me if you do and I'll set up an ftp account for them. Thanks.

Duel on the Delaware
OUCH!!!

I hope we didn't anger too many folks out there. The drivers for the qualifying rounds were all rookies that are in training for next year. The Evil Machine is a hard machine to drive so some of the hits were harder than I like and I hope we didn't hurt too many. You know rookies- they all want to show their stuff and take on the world.

Of course next fall head driver Steve will be off at college so whomever drives against the EM will be facing a rookie driver and the games will be interesting. We are bound to flip again- our team always flips over FIRST robotics (sorry). Of course we have several months to train...

I hope all enjoyed the games and we offended nobody. We came out to play and not necessarily win. Saturday was a training mission just for fun. I think we accomplished our goals.

Best wishes to all and see you in the fall at DoD, RR and the NJ event.

WC

Mike you dunno who you're messin with

Mike that would work, but "big mike" would hafta get past Cliff-Meister or as I used to be called Demolition Cliff and my partner...Machine Gun Charlie.....Ponders Mike I think we should join forces here and convince 365 and 316 we want this match to happen.
