Is wood allowed to be used in constructing a controller box for the operator?

I believe the only contoller box you can use is the one on the additional hardware list... check that out. it tells you where to get it from and even what colors you have to use.

a controller box
If you are talking about a controller box for operator to carry the joysticks and controller around easily, then there's simply no limit to what you can use.
It isn't part of the robot, so there's no reason why it is bounded by any of the rules. Just make sure it is safe, and the right size to fit into the human player station. And make sure you don't modify the control system (operator's side) in anyway. Teams even have a bag pack style for carrying the control system, which I remember is Team 234 cyber blue's. |
