This is not quick, but it may get you a lot of community backers for your team.
Check out every local merchant you or your family patronize: the dry cleaner, the deli, the doctor, the pizza parlor, the barber or hair salon, the nail salon, the car wash... Lots of them have pictures of their Little League or Pop Warner teams or their soccer teams. So you know they support local student groups. So ask them for $250 bucks and see what happens. If everyone on the team pledges to ask 5 different local merchants, you would easily come up with at least $2,000. Just make sure that you keep track of which team member is asking which merchants, so you don's ask anyone twice. And be sure to send thank-you notes, please. Hope that helps... Flora ![]() |
