PUlse counting
What is the maximum frequency response of the Robot Controller digital inputs with a medium size program? How can you optimize your code to facilitate counting pulses and determine rate?

40 hz Max, 20 hz or 13 hz more likely
The fastest you can get through the loop is the rate that the radio packets are sent out.
If you do a lot of math, you will be longer than the 25 msec per loop, so you will have to wait for the next data packet. This means that you will be more likely at a 20hz rate or even 13.3hz. The best way to keep track of time based stuff this year is to use the custom circuit option that is available this year for the first time. Joe J. |
