Yes, cheap is good. I use a similar method. Paying $30 for a T-Shirt with a name on it is highly overrated (*coughAbercrombie&Fitch / EddieBauercough*). No, I don't feel like being a mindless walking billboard. I don't mind being one for Old Navy though because you can get 5 T-Shirts for $10.

Kohl's is a pretty good place to shop as well. I think I've only bought something from PacSun/Buckle once (nice pair of shorts & shirt on sale).

I did get a pair of boxers from GAP once. I felt wierd in that place. The only reason I got'em is because they were free

.. I must admit, I enjoy being a walking billboard sometimes.

Though I wouldn't pay anymore that $50 to be one

.. well except in ONE case.

I want to buy shirts in every color, and write "KRI" all over them so that I can be a billboard for myself!

I don't shop.

i shop a lot. i actually went today for almost 5 hours. thats not to say i bought a lot though. i did buy some stuff. i dont think i have one particular set of stores i shop from. i know i go to some stores on a regular basis to see if theres anything new, but i wouldnt say i shop anywhere regularly. basically, if i like something and its worth the price its being sold at, i buy it.

You must have bought the t-shirt and boxers though. Unless you inherited them from family. I get a lot of my brothers old clothes but they look terrible so i through them out.

Also, I couldn't imagine wearing someone else's underwear. That is disgusting. So I would guess that you did buy the t-shirt and boxers after all.

I don't go shopping at malls, because I can't ever find anything that fits quite right. I'm a little top-heavy and I have wide hips, which doesn't help when stores like Abercrombie and the Gap advertise very thin, flat, narrow girls.

However, thrifting has always fit my needs. When I was in high school, most of my clothes said weird area names and place on them, such as 'Tarpman', 'Forever Green', or my personal favorite, 'Grampa Al'. I got a couple of memorable slogans, too - 'Court Reporters Are Touchy People!', 'Frazza's Barnyard 88/89?', and 'Johnson's U-Pick Apples'. My pants have ranged over the years from plaid, huge 60" bottoms, floods, regular baggy jeans, low-risers, and now my new favorite, polyester. I've even helped my brother find a three-piece herringbone twill suit for his graduation - a whopping $7.

I've always been a thrifter... no reason to stop now.

The only places I go to at the mall are:
The optician
The game/hobby store
The bookstore

Why are clothes such a big deal?

its really hard for me to get pants that fit good too. i mean my waist/hips are one size according to the stores, but then my thighs are a different one so its kinda hard to find a pair of pants that fit properly, without making me have to wear a belt, because i hate belts

American Eagle

Hmmm...

Where I shop........American Eagle, and....American Eagle, and Steve and Barry's.

I love American Eagle's khaki shorts so much that I haven't worn a pair of jean shorts forever (actually only in Houston for the team uniform). For my shirts most it's pretty even between American Eagle and Steve and Barry's which is a university clothing store on the Purdue campus. Everything for $20 or less! (right now i think it's $12.98....). Gotta love college t-shirts for $7.50 and big heavy embroidered hoodies for $20
