Ok, so he's not "that great of an actor" but he makes it good. Somehow that's confusing to me and should be to everyone.
The majority of movie viewers aren't teenage girls (or gay teenage guys) and won't like a Harry Potter because it was just a horribly done remake. They did make improvements in the 2nd one but still not too great. The guys at WB need to take a good long look at Lord of the Rings and start from there
