Go to Post In my line of work, we affectionately refer to this approach as "Seagull Engineering". Why? Because we swoop in, flap around making a lot of noise and commotion, leave a big mess of "stuff" behind and then fly off. - billbo911 [more]

Popular may not have been the best word

When i said Popular first people.... i should have been a little more specific...

I MEANT! people in first who have set an excellent example of firstmanlike behavior, I said mike walker because he went out of his way to help me learn how to program my robot, Ryan and Dan of 710 because they worked SO hard to put the seaside squabble togeather In vain, and M. Krass because she always has something good to say about everything, and I Of course am well meaning But since i always seem to screw up .....

AnyHoo, Sorry

We understand and many understood what you meant, but sometimes (as Ive learned in the past) you have to put out every detail no matter how long it takes or how obvious you think it is, because there are people that will miss your point and cause trouble with it. Maybe a better word would have been "known" or "FIRSTers going out beyond the call of duty" or something like that. Just remember, if you understand it, doesn't mean everyone else will.

I think people were a bit critical about that thread - though perhaps Tytus could have been wiser in choosing a topic title, such as "Well Know FIRST Participants".
