At my school, they've got the whole process down to an art.
You basically go to one of the offices, request a club form, get a faculty sponsor for the club, fill the form out, and bammo! They approve it (atleast if it's at the begining of the year and if it's not an Ultimate Frisbee club

). You might want to talk to anyone in power about what the process is at your particular club.
Anyways, definately go for a creative writing club if you don't have it already. My school has both a school newspaper club (and class) and a literary magazine club (they publish students' poetry/short stories/art in a bi-annual magazine). Believe it or not, there are people who love other things over technology out there (although
why they'd feel such a way is a mystery to me). If you make such a club, I'm sure you'll find people willing to join.
