I thought FIRST was what I do with my freetime ?!

[just kidding - I know what you mean]

for a couple years our team would play Euker (speeled write?) - esp on the bus trips.

but for the students, it wasnt how well you could play, it was how cleverly you and your partner could cheat (communicate) without getting caught.

Euchre

If any team I'm working with ends up with free time, I'm doing something wrong. They need to be working, or I need to be recovering somewhere else

Err, we have meetings during build season from 5:30pm - 9pm so we only have time to eat free pizza from Papa John's. On Saturdays, however, when we work for 8 or more hours, we usually take a 1 hour lunch break when we will sometimes engage in UT or some other multiplayer game. The new comps this year will make it much nicer... 24 2ghz P4 Dells with 512mb PC2100 and 64mb GeForce4 MX 440 8X video cards

Though if anyone starts playing games while it's work time, I will shut down the computer manually without asking. People might get mad, but they know what they're doing is unproductive and not appropriate.

You mean people outside of Michigan play Euchre?? Wow... I thought we were the only ones...

Euchre was definitely a major pastime for my team, though. We played it all the time, in the stands, in the hotel, during breaks in build season. It's a great game, if you can figure out how to play it. Once you know, you can play while sleeping (or NOT sleeping after 20 hours in Houston)... it just takes time to learn the rules.

During free time, we eat. And sometimes throw stuff around (like frisbees ). But mostly eat.

Our 'union breaks' take place either at 3:00 o'clock or 7:30 depending on what shift it is. We sit inside the house and eat/drink/sometimes have dinner/talk/do h/w since we prolly wont be getting home to 10 or later.

Team 5 meets from 3:30 pm - ~4:30 pm on our meeting days.

On Saturdays for build season however, we meet from 9 am - inbetween 6-8 pm. Inbetween then there is no free time, and we get a lunch break half-way through the day [no set lunch break, just when the food runs out ].
