A new home built Segway

In a way this guy is kind of an idiot because He used RC car batteries and paid way too much for his gyro. But, the thing looks like it works pretty well from the movies. He even made ABC news! Now why didn't the Knight Krawler? It was first anyway.

I saw this guy on TechTV a few days ago....
It did seem a little pointless to build this, but i guess its just what floats his boat..TechTV did say his job was building "walking, balancing, robots" so i guess its right up his alley. I was actually surprised with the performence of this home build scooter... It drove around quite nice but it has trouble turning... but like i said.. whatever floats his boat....

I don't think it was pointless to build, he just paid a little too much and the quality of the work was a little too shotty.
