What you need to run your EDU BOT.

I know several people have asked what do I need to buy so here it is...

This website:

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXBCP2**&P=0

Takes you to Towerhobbies.com This company is great and they are cheap.... They also have cheap shipping and discounts for orders over $75.
So maybe you can save $5 bucks

The package on this website includes the following:

INCLUDES: One Transmitter No Number
One TX Antenna FUTM5040
One R114H Receiver FUTL0400
One RX Crystal FUTL46A1-A6
Two S3003 Servos FUTM0031
One Switch Harness FUTM4370
Two Servo Accessory Package FUTM3551
One Set Frequency Flags No Number
Black Nylon TX Neck Strap No Number

I have never used Futaba products but I have some experience using RC car electronics. I have heard that they are good though!!

You will also need to buy 5 3pin PWM cables to connect your Receiver to your EDU Robot Controller. Innovation FIRST may sell these on their site but I could not find any as of now.

You also need to buy 8 AA batteries for your Transmitter. Tower Hobbies says you need 12 but you do not because you connect the Receiver power to your EDU Robot Controller.

If you need help or I am missing something please let me know.

Bad Brad

I cannot be shure untill we recive the edubot but you may also need an adapter to change the futaba J style connector to the hitec/airtronics/air-z connector used with all the innovation first stuff.

altho you could homebrew your own cables.

BTW nicad batteries for those transmitters are GREAT... I wouldent be able to live without myne.. dead batteries when your plane is in the air...

Tower is now offering a $20 gift certificate with that radio for the same price. You must use THIS LINK or stock # TL5658 in order to get the gift certificate. This is awesome because it is the same price but you get $20 to spend later on stuff like heat sinks for the drill motors.
