Re-Doing Our School's Page- Want Input

Thanks guys for the input. I didn't create the site as it is now, but I'm going to be re-doing it as part of my Advance Computer Info Systems class. My teacher wants LOADS of new stuff, like a new layout, so if I show her some of these comments, maybe she'll lower her expectation a little.

My main idea for the page would be to consolidate the links and reduce the pages so, like for an example, the student resources page would also be the media center page, etc (and would be called Student & Media Center).

I plan on chaining the main logo and the navigational bar, but not much at all. I'm working on doing some stuff in aqua and brushed metal, but it will still look simple and get the information across. I also plan on making the main page smaller so you can get all your information and links without having to scroll down.
