Shunts

Of the teams that are going to measure current through parts of the robot, I'd like to know: "What are you using as a shunt?"

Length of wire? High-wattage low-value resistor? Hunk of steel (Real shunt! [I still don't know if fabricating this is leagal. You can make it as per the AHL but it is not sold by Future FAI or Digi-Key. FRCTech2002 hasn't responded yet.])? Somthing else?

Also, where do you plan to measure the current? Each motor? Just drive motors? Battery?

How many watts are you planning for your shunts to shunt? 30A @ 12V? More? Less? 8)
