@ South Bay Lego League Tournament
20 teams are competing.
LEGOLAND increased the number of slots reserved for the MB tournament from 3 to 11. They also increased the allocation from 2 to 7 slots for a smaller qualifying tournament in the San Fernando Valley. The net result is that all teams have similar chances of going to LEGOLAND, but the teams at the two qualifying tournaments will get there by doing well in the competition rather than by winning the lottery. We will have seating for at least 400 people. We will have large projection TV screens. We will have TV News coverage. We will have local dignitaries for the opening and closing ceremonies link |
