forgot to answer one of the questions!
Surprisingly enough you really can't move the thing sideways. In order to move it you still have to backdrive at least one motor. It's certainly not designed to be a pusher, but traction is not at all terrible.
It's fast and nimble, but can be confusing to drive if you lose your orientation....we've been using a colored flag system for the drivers! If you've got more questions please post them......we built it for you guys. We love to toot our horns about it. Hey Joe, any comments? Brian? Andy?..........does it stack up against the swerve?
