I used to drive around Virginia in the middle of February with the top down all the time (and sometimes still do). My college room mate would scream bloody murder about it, and yell at me that I was nuts to do that and was going to freeze. My response: "that's what heaters are for!"

Re: It's the annual "First Snow of the Year" thread!

I guess I should of remained quiet last night. I retract my statement. It has been snowing like made here all day... started sometime during the night. It let off for a bit, but started in even more fierce around 4 pm. Sure is beautiful here in the Endless Mountains.
.....Huntin' Season is a blast, perfect for tracking your kill now.

I too have spoken too soon. It is now snowing here in Montreal, and windy too, and the temperature with wind chill factor is -17°C (that's about 15°F).

Dave,

Can you still rent Mustangs? I miss the days when you could rent a 5.0 Mustang GT from Hertz. Next time you're around, remind me to tell you about the time I "caught" a purse snatcher with my 5.0 Mustang GT rental

It's snowed a few times here in Ann Arbor, but it hasn't stuck at all. It hasn't snowed enough or been consistently cold enough to do that.

eheheuee... that would have been no problem for me... I've got this nifty little ice scraper that you plug into your cigarrete lighter jack and it has an iron inside that warms the whole thing up. Ice just melts away... eheheue

I personally use the snow for homemade Slurpees. Just add some Coke, and you're set.
