I am the guy all my friends to when they have computer problems, and i JUST HATE IT when they say things like this:


[22:05:26] Me: what type of cable did you use? a lil rectangle one, or a big one with lots of pins?
[22:05:43] friend: from the scanner to what?
[22:05:49] Me: your computer
...
[22:10:44] Me: it should have come with some software
[22:10:53] Me: like, a CD or something
[22:10:57] Me: have you installed that?
[22:11:09] friend: yea
[22:11:15] Me: ok
[22:11:38] friend: well i dunno this thing poped up
[22:11:41] friend: and i dunno what to do with it
[22:11:45] Me: oh
[22:11:49] Me: well what is "this thing"
[22:11:51] Me: and what does it say?
[22:12:00] friend: the found new hardware thing
[22:12:15] Me: ok
[22:12:21] Me: well, just let winblowz do its thing
[22:12:42] friend: but itd msking me choosing something but idunno what to choose
