The points are piled up into stacks, and these stacks are then measured with the official Stack Stick, which is divided into Stack Height Units (SHUs). Each SHU is 100 points tall. The number of bars (pips) is determined by the number of points available, rounded down to the nearest SHU marked on the Stack Stick. One bar (pip) is awarded for each SHU validly measured by the Stack Stick, plus one.
