Angry Too good to be true !!
Well I guess I had to expect this sometime ... I had been promoting the benefits of the FREE CAD download from PTC called Pro/DESKTOP Express ...

I just received an email from PTC indicating that it may not be available any longer (effective Dec 31, 2003). There is an option to convert to a 5 year license, but I don't know yet if there is a fee involved (I would expect a hefty fee). I will update the forum as soon as I can obtain more details ...

OK ... OK ... I panicked a bit too soon. The 5 year license key is FREE! But the support and download will be gone after the end of the year. Even if you don't plan to use it now, I suggest going to www.ptc.com, setting up a user account, and downloading and activating this software. It is a GREAT solid modeler. And if you snooze now ... you WILL lose. This software does require a unique activation key for each computer it is installed on, and you get the key the first time you launch after installation. Again, this software/license will be GONE AS OF DEC 31, 2003. Go get it!
