All of the Arkansas teams are going to STL. OK, maybe I should say both of us.

Not sure why but in the past it seems that "some" vet teams have come to st. louis due to the large number of rookies present. (last year about half) A fair warning to those going to st. louis: The competition is very fierce for a rookie dominated regional. Our team has been there since it started two years ago and every year it has been the same. See past st. louis stuff.

I love that about st. louis!
You can see alot of "new" ideas and people every year!

The St. Louis Regional is amazing and good luck to all teams heading that way in March! I am now out of high school (at Iowa State University), but I was disappointed to see our home team 525 going to Chicago instead of St. Louis. St. Louis has been our home for the last two years and I have loved both times going down there.

To any rookie teams to St. Louis: You are going to have a blast!!

St Louis was definately fun in 2002 when we went in as rookies and came out as regional champs, haha...but no st.louis this year for us...nj is going to ca, even further...at least we wont take a bus this time!

Team 933 (Rockford, IL) is going to St. Louis this year. Two years ago we went to St. Louis as a rookie team then last year we went to the Midwest Regional at Northwestern.

I know a lot of teams are looking at the FIRST assigned hotels in St. Louis this year and going, "GAAAACK!"

My wife researched other hotels in the area. We ultimately landed on the Towne Place Suites, which are about 1 mile from the competition venue and reasonably priced.

Here is a core dump of the other information that she obtained. We do not advocate any of these hotel options. This is just some information to maybe save some of you some time. We have not investigated these properties for cleanliness, security, safety or any other attribute.

If I'm not mistaken we stayed there last year. They're very very nice rooms with plenty of space for computers and people (for those late night meetings/ohmigoshtheanimationisn'tdonewe'regoingtodierender renderrender parties )

This is my first year in FIRST, and this year i was elected Design Leader/Mech leader for team #931. You may know us from the Lime Green shirts, buttons and flags. Also, whenever you see our team you instantly think "Wow, now they know how to party..."
Ok Well anyway, this is 931 "Perpetual Chaos" 3rd year at the St. Louis Regional the longest running St. Louis area team there, and on behalf of myself and my team I would like to welcome all Rookie teams and all the 2nd year St. Louis teams to the Regionals.
