Re: Tutorials
I do recall a couple other threads where i put the links to this.
First off, explore and use the book to get introduced to all the buttons. For the last couple of years, Ted Boardman (legend who looks like santa) has put up video tutorials. Here was last years link. I am sure he will update them for this upcomming year (note there are inventor and 3ds max tutorials). Hope this helps. P.S. Where's the spell check??!?!?!?! |

Re: Tutorials
I´m amateur in grpahic design. is my hobby I have been following the "Fundamentals courseware 3dsmax5 descreet" book, is excellent. But by now I have trouble to understand the diferent classes of shaders, I´m talking about the material editor, Such shaders are anisitropic, blinn, metal, Oren-Nayer-Blinn, Phong, Strauss, and translucent shader. Someone know where on the web I can found more information about this topics? or someone recomend me a book. If so please e-mail oriol.cortes@kodak.com Last edited by Oriol Cortes : 23-01-2004 at 17:43. |

Re: Tutorials
you can find help by pressing F1 in max6. There's a page dedicated to explaining the different types of shaders.
