Upgrade Updates

I thought I'd do a little update, and show off my abnormal amount of motivation today. And to do so, I thought I would make use of a familiar face: the portal.

The portal is back. You can reach it by going to either http://www.chiefdelphi.com/ or http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/portal.php as before. There is a link to it in the upper left, next to (and pushing over) the 'user cp' link.

The UFH system is back, just in time for the new year. I know you all have hundreds of nominations and were upset that you couldn't submit them -- well now's your chance. Get those UFH nominations in and put the spotlight on those who deserve to be honored.

Speaking of spotlight .. the Spotlight list is back, as well as the external spotlight javascript. You can get to this stuff by way of the 'Extras' link, which is located in the 'Quick Links' drop-down, in the upper right. You will also find a new icon on each post (). This is how you spotlight that post. The interface works the same way it did in vB2.

Team #, Team Name and Location now show up above your post. I think that's all the info that will be going up there. If you think there is any other relevant info that should be up there, let me know.

The image gallery and white papers are next on my list. They are each about 1/2 done. I estimate a total of 4-5 hours to get both of them online. I can't devote that much time until either Tuesday evening or New Years Day, so please be patient. If you need a particular White Paper, send me a PM and I will dig it up for you.

What about the AKA field?

Ok, it's there. Everybody will have to re-enter their AKA data, though. It was 'accidentally' left out of the upgrade.
