The manual says that the bar is 10 feet from the carpet, and the platform is 4 feet from the carpet, so the bar is only 6 feet high? It looked higher in the demo field, but maybe the guys are just short?

The platform is not 4' high. The platform dimensions are 4' (wide) x 8' (long) x 1' (tall). The bar is 10' from the carpet, 9' from the platform top surface. *not official statement, my interpretation*
