Pressure gage on receivers
Does anyone know if we must have the pressure gage installed on the tanks (Receivers) is this a required element? What if this gage breaks Ours reads 160 when the compressor cuts off I know this has to be wrong. Will we get nailed for this at inspection.

You must have the NORGEN pressure regulator as the first thing in the loop before the solenoids.

Pneumatics Manual says 'The gauge may be placed ...(on the Norgren regulator)', but what that word 'MAY' means to First this year may be a mystery.
Last year, we were called once for no gauge, but may was taken as permitting, not requiring, and we _were_ allowed to compete. And at the Nats, there was no notice taken of the lack of gauge. We did have to produce a gauge and temporarily attach it to prove that the pressure downstream from the regulator was proper. |
