Yeah I think the Patty-Cakes have hit the end of the rope. Manning is on fire, EJ is running like a Pro-Bowler, and they have 3 consistant scoring threats from a reciever (Stokley, Harrison, & Wayne).

The Patty-Cakes offense doesn't score that many points and they are getting ready to go up against the most aggressive and dangerous offense of the playoffs....

Colts over Patty-Cakes

Re: NFL Playoffs

hahaha Patty-cakes... that was almost good... That's what everyone said to us two years ago and I believe someone from new england won the supperbowl... oh yes it was the patriots... I mean not only have they had about 50 different starters in a year but they have the coaches that will out coach anyone and i mean anyone in the NFL... Yes the pats had a little trouble getting out of the Indy jam earlier in the year but a win is a win... Doesn't matter how it happens but its a win... They just layed back and thought it was over and the colts started to come back... I believe if the pats get by the afc they will take it all because I don't think the nfc right now has much too offer... The eagles are ok but if anyone i would watch for the pink panthers...

Denver thought a win was a win too, then they got spanked the next week . Peyton is on fire and throwing the ball like a laser guided spear and with the recent addition of the touch down happy Stokley I'de be afraid.

Colts over Patty-Cakes!

I doubt it....its going to be just as cold and the ball is going to be as hard as a rock. Adam V. could barely kick a 46 yarder (which is still decent)..

Edit:

Another thing I just noticed.

Colts & Panthers are the 3 seed

Eagles and Patty-Cakes were the 1 seed (until they both lose this weekend)

Re: NFL Playoffs

It actually isn't going to be that cold. From what I heard on the News last night Partly Cloudy with temps in the mid 40's. MUCH better than last week's game.

Pats all the way, Baby!

DJ, who won that game?
I seem to remember a disgusted Manning throwing his helmet to the ground as he stalled out on the 1-yard line. Tough Luck.

The Patriots have been playing GREAT football all season. They are a hell of a team. Bellicheck ALWAYS comes up with something to pull out the win. And... like FIRST this season... that's all that matters.

I'm calling the Pats in overtime.

I'm with John here. New England will win with their D and use the cold weather to get under Indy's skin. Plus remember I have that whole hating the owner that started the whole moving the NFL team thing back in the 80's.

So Unitas We Stand, Go PATS!

one of the first things Steve said to me when we left the Indianapolis Airport before IRI last year:

"Where is Jim Irsay's house? I want to throw tomatos at it"

Re: NFL Playoffs

Yes the Patriots defense played a great game. Who would have figured they would have sacked the best quarterback in the NFL 4 times and pull off 4 interceptions. Both offenses were pretty pathetic today. BUT the true winner of todays game was the referees. Soo many missed calls for both sides. Fortunately for the Patriots when their defense started to choke, the refs were there to do the heimlich. There is no other word to describe the 2 pass interference calls in a row besides travesty. Yeah I know, I know...the Colts should have should have taken advantage of their time earlier, still the referees have been doing this for 20 some years and when they can't make a simple call like pass interference you have to wonder...

Referees complain about being insulted and called "blind" again this proves the harasser's point.

Anyone love the way the camera kept panning over Manning? He seriously looked like he was about to puke toward the end.

Gotta love the partial fans that come out and cheer only when their team does well in the playoffs .
