yet another joystick question

due to both being right handed, I was wondering if we're allowed to get new ones, as long as they're 2 axis same button type of joysticks? I'm hoping to go for a left/right neutral type, will this be allowed?

Re: yet another joystick question

You can use pretty much any joystick that uses the old PC gameport (DB15) style connector. FIRST doesn't seem to care what's hooked up to the OI as long as it meets all the specifications given by Innovation First. However, IFI makes it pretty clear that if you use your own controls, then you're doing so at your own risk.

Re: yet another joystick question

Does anyone know if we are allowed to purchase additional servo motors and use them at the same time as those we were supplied with by the kit?
