Re: NFL Playoffs

Alright, I went 1-1 this weekend. I'm 6-4 in the playoffs so far. So here's my final pick for the Super Bowl:

Carolina over New England

I thought I'd go with the underdog this year. Enjoy the next two weeks. Looking forward to Houston.

Re: NFL Playoffs

I don't know... I think the Pats are better over all, in offense, defense and special teams than the Panthers... But I can't under estimate Carolina because of what happened two years ago... This should be a good game...

hahahaha... I only have to say one thing about that game that made me sick... it was our "fans" if you can call them that... my friend went to the game and said how pats fans were throwing crap at colts fans... i even saw them flipping the colts off during the game... that just made me sick... i hate our pats fans... they are trail park trash...

Re: NFL Playoffs

Yeah, well all I have to say is:

Just cause I live in New England it doesn't mean I even vaguely like or appreciate the Patriots because they screwed over my state just so Massachusettes would build them a new stadium, or fix up their old one, so;
Go PANTHERS!!!!

(plus, the Carolina Panthers have been "my team" since they were first in the NFL years ago)

Re: NFL Playoffs

Go Pats.

A Joke to share:
Obviously this isn't true. If it was -- how would you explain the RedSux?

John Madden was in Chicago to announce a football game one weekend when he noticed a special telephone near the Bears' bench. He asked a nearby player what it was used for and was told it was a hotline to God. John asked if he could use it. The player told him, "Sure, but it will cost you $100.00." John scratched his head, then thought, what the heck. I could use some help picking games. He pulled out his wallet and paid the $100.00. John's picks were perfect that week.

The next week, John was in Texas when he noticed that same kind of phone on the Cowboys' bench. He asked what the telephone was for and was told "It's a hotline to God, if you want to use it, it will cost you $500.00." Recalling last weekend, John pulled out his wallet and made the call. John's picks were perfect again that week!

The next weekend John was in New England at Gillette Stadium when he noticed the same kind of phone by the Patriots' bench. He asked Tom Brady, "Is that the hotline to God?" Tom said, "yes but it will cost you 50 cents". John looked incredulously at Tom and said, '"Wait a second, I just paid $100.00 in Chicago and $500.00 in Texas to use the same phone to God!" "Why does New England only charge 50 cents"? Tom looked at John and replied, "In New England, it's a local call."
