Hey~

Alright all..

I doing a little poll here to find out if it would be worth my time to set up these services and to see how much they would be used.

These services could be used for anything FIRST related.

1)FTP/Web File sharing/storeing. This could be used for a number of things includeing: Sharing of Inventor Files, an offsite storage for 3ds Max animations, other file storage, etc.. The ammount of storage would be based on need and virtually (note the virtually) uncapped. If only ftp access is granted, your files will only be accessable to you.

2)Website Hosting. This could be used to host FIRST web pages either for a team or a FIRST related project. Features include PHP Scripting, MySQL DB's, FTP/SSH access. Again, the bandwidth & storage would be granted on need, etc..

3)Almost anything else that requires a web server

The web server that would be used is a dedicated server (used for the failing FSN) running Red Hat, and hosted by VO (The same host as CD)

I just want to see if people think they actually would use these services before i take the time to aquire domains, and spend any more time setting things up.
