Yeah, you can just call Skyway to order wheels. Just tell them you're a FIRST team and want the wheels the came in the FIRST kit and they'll likely know exactly what you're talking about. I know cause I called them with a technical question about the hubs and when I told the guy I had a wheel with a keyed hub he said I sounded like I was with a FIRST team.
If anyone wants to know, I asked how the hubs are held, and the aluminum has a splined surface inside the wheel. The hub is inserted into the mold and plastic is injected around it. So the spokes are likely to break before you spin the hub. |
