Good idea? Joystick packet checking?
I was thinking (as something to do after the robot's completion) about creating a unit (or stand-alone program) that halfway through the packet transmission would pretty much say "Are the packets from the joystick still here? If not, go back and send another! If so, hall butt to the operator!". Would this even be possible? Would it have to be a unit with the code flashed to an IC? I hope not. If it's a good idea (which I doubt it is) please give me some pointers. If it's not a good idea please explain why. Thanks!
