use of velcro in 04?

hey, i was unable to find the information in the 2004 manual concerning the use of velcro. i heard we are not allowed to use velcro at all. is this true? if so in what ways, and if not, what is the exact rule so i could look it up. thank you.
good luck teams

Re: use of velcro in 04?

They were probably refering to <R17>, but that rule only applies to wheels.

Velcro is legal to use for anything else. In fact, in section 5.8.7.2, FIRST recomends that you use velcro to hold your red power connectors together during a match.
