Scrap material?
As a fourth year team, we currently have scrap metal that was milled or cut in previous years. We are wondering what the "legality" of using this scrap material is.

i see no reason that it would be illeagal...aslong as the metal is used as a raw material and not a final product for the robot
example. if you are making a motor mount and using the leftover metal from cutting a sprocket 3 years ago that would be fine. but if you were using the sprocket that wasn't used in competition any year i would say that is against the rules. i hope that came out clear |
