I thought that was one of the better commercials, besides the fact that Pepsi's name was all over it. What they're doing is cool, because it will encourage people to download music legally... only question is will it work?

Doubtful.

Re: Super Bowl XXXIII In Reliant Dome

i agree about the super bowl...the apparent lack-of-superstar really showed during the first quarter and a half. I would have liked to have seen a team that starts with "C" and rhymes with OLTS take on a team that starts with R and rhymes with AMS. Now that would have been a game. Two explosive offenses versus two defenses that have seen better days. Hmmm...just wishful thinking i guess. Anyways, now it's time to build a robot.

As per the halftime show. I am so incredibly offended. Just goes to show...a good rock show is best everytime.

I would have loved to see the Colts and Titans in the Super Bowl.
I think it would have been great to see the two MVP's in the NFL playing in the largest game of the year.

haha... Maybe... If they weren't in the same division... but I don't know why everyone hated the halftime show... Besides all the junk and washed up singers I loved Janet Jackson... hehehe

I would like to see Daler Mehndi in a half time show sometime... But either way I'm glad my team won! The funny part is my brother was in Vegas and yesterday he came home... BUT when he came home he was wearing all his Pats clothes and he had to switch planes in.... yes you guessed it NORTH CAROLINA!!!!!! hahah

The superbowl was in Reliant Dome? If I would have known that I would have tried to watch some of it instead of go to the robotics meeting!

Re: Super Bowl XXXIII In Reliant Dome

i'm not too into the whole "OMG the Super Bowl!" thing... personally i only like to watch the sport when i'm there in the stands... at home it kinda lacks reality and is harder to get excited about... thats just my opinion tho. We weren't at Nationals last year anyway... but if we had been, i'm sure i would have made some effort to watch even a little bit of it, just for kicks.

as for the half time show, i've heard it sucked. so i'm not too upset that i missed it. oh well, i was at robotics... so it's all good. lol

Re: Super Bowl XXXIII In Reliant Dome

Even though the wrong team won, it was a pretty memorable Super Bowl none-the less.

Yes I said the wrong team won, and yes I am from New England!! You got a problem with that??

I hate that the Patriots are on TV and the radio every minute now because of that too... (sigh) It's just the unfortunate result of living in the same general area as the winning team...

As for the pepsi commercial, I cheered when the girl said, "We're going to do it anyways!!" (reffering to the DL of music over the internet... But that is the topic for a whole other thread all together.)

I'm not going to even mention the fact that the Half-Time show was bad, or the media's blatent attempt to drag out a half-time related story for at least two weeks that I don't personally think was a big deal at all!!
GET OVER IT!!!

And yes, I have to admit I looked and tried to determine what side of the stadium I sat in during The Championship event last year!
It was hard to tell from the video's perspective though.
And my family was just ignoring me when I said that "I was there!" every 20 minutes! lol

Oh, and I heard that it was real sod that they laid in the venue, not just astroturf (that was exclusive for the astrodome!! lol )
Can anyone confirm this?
