"[FIRST] uses words to mean what words mean." -- Dean Kamen So, from section 4.1 of the manual: "Two alliances comprised of two teams compete in each match." And from Webster's: compete \Com*pete"\, v. i. To contend emulously; to seek or strive for the same thing, position, or reward for which another is striving; to contend in rivalry, as for a prize or in business; as, tradesmen compete with one another.
