Has anyone taken apart the lights

i know the new lights come apart they have a screw hole that you need to put a screw in by taking the lens off i was going to take it off but my team was making the Tytus Touch joke and said dont try

Whoos done it?

Ya, nothing fancy in there. Im actually rather dissapointed with the lights. They could have put more than 1 LED of each color in there....

same here... i was looking for way to put them on the robot and noticed the hole on the back.. so i opened it.. and it still works so dont worry... the lights seem to flash brightly enough but we rather thought they'll flash more often...
o well, FIRST always has their reasons

If you take a close look at the lens you will see four places where there are indents in the plastic. That should give you a hint as to how they come apart and go back together. They are designed to have the lens removed.

Actually, if First used the right LED then they would have no need for more than one LED. Those things can actually be very bright.

We have had to take apart our lights because two of them were broken on arrival. One had no functional blue LED and the other was very dim. We have determined that there were internal shorts in the latter one, but the former is in an unknown state.

Does anyone know where we can get more?
