Now I am curious, I will stop by on my way up to work on the robot tonight.

Looks Like Stingers are legal

Well, this was posted in the Q+A...

Q: Update 04 gave Terminal Supply as an alternate for the Maxi Fuse Block. TS said that the Maxi Fuse Block JEF-531-D is on back order. Is there an alternate for the alternate?

A: If you are looking for a spare, Terminal Supply should have more by the time our regional events begin. There are other distributors, such as Stinger Electronics (www.stingerelectronics.com) that may be able to direct you to your nearest retailer.

So, it looks like the stinger fuse holders are OK to use.

The woman (Carrie) who I was supposed to talk with was not in the office. The people who were in were not knowledgeable.

What I DID find out is that the part is not a standard part from Terminal Supply, it is a special part number for FIRST.

Just spoke to Carrie: They are working to find another part.

Give them about about a half day or so, they sounded like they'd have something in place.

Nick, I sometimes envy teams who start out under weight and then have a chance to grow. We start out over and start stripping and drilling to make weight. Last year at nationals, 130.00, whew! Good thing it wasn't too humid.

Re: Maxi 40 Amp Fuse Panel

We also did not recieve ours. We went to our local auto parts store for a functional replacement with the same amperage, $7.95

Is this legal? We could not wait any longer for it to come in..we had to proceed with testing..

Anyway, each fuse accept a different input power source, and we have to, therefore, split the power coming from the 6 AWG wire from the fuse breaker into 4 to power it. I just wanted to make sure all this is legal, i.e., using a different fuse panel than that provided in the kit (granted that none was provided in ours). I didn't see anything immediately applicable from a glance at the electronics/wiring section. Thank you.
