Drill Motor Top Rear Plastic Support

Well, we were mounting up our drill motors today and realized that FIRST gave us 4 top middle supports and zero top back supports instead of two top middle supports and two top rear supports. Did any one else get their kit this way? It is past the extended deadline of reporting this problem so we will be machining our own equivalents out of aluminum.

If any team did not receive these specific pieces and had planned on using them, send me a PM or post here and we'll see if we can run a couple for you. We are not machining aluminum replacements for people who got plastic ones. Perhaps for a cost we could make them for anyone but the intent of this was only wanted to ask if there's anyone we could help out who is in the same position as us.

We already found a team that got the same thing you did and exchanged with them. However, Ralph Lambert of team 1094 has informed me that they are in the same position we were in (having 4 middle and no back). So, I suggest you trade with them. I e-mailed you his PM that he sent to me.

Re: Drill Motor Top Rear Plastic Support

I just received ours from Paul Luffel of team 1127 Lotus Robotics. Thank You!. Can anyone tell me if the top rear supports this year are different from last year? The ones I received just have a slight arc on the bottom side of the top part of it. I remember there being a squared off cutout portion last year. They still work the same though right? Thanks.

Re: Drill Motor Top Rear Plastic Support

When we were mounting our drills last night, we realized the same thing - 4 rears and no middles. PM or e-mail me about a trade for 2 middles for 2 of our rears and I'll see what we can do.

We have 4 middle ones and need 2 rear ones. If you still have your rear ones we would be interested in an exchange. Our team e-mail address is team1425@wilsonvillerobotics.com for anyone who wants to exchange.

We would trade. We got 4 middle and no rear mounts. If you are still interested in trading the teams e-mail is panthers1108@yahoo.com. Send us your address and any other info that we might need. Respond quickly so we can get the mounts in the mail as soon as possible.

Thanks,

We have last year's, though. We will trade them for your skyway wheels (just kidding! but, if you are willing to negotiate, we would like the wheels!)
