TTL pins

The Edubot had three pins for the TTL port and were labeled as Tx, Rx and BLK. The Fullsize RC has 4 pins and are not labeled other than + and B (the + is +5v).

Does anyone have (confirmed) knowledge of what the B and other middle two unlabeled pins are? Has anyone successfully interfaced with the TTL port on the fullsize RC? I've read some other posts and it seems as though some other teams are having trouble with the TTL port as well.

Thanks, Dave...

What we have found (through inspection with a scope) is that from left to right (when looking at the RC in the normal orientation), the pins are +5, Tx, Rx, and Ground.

I don't know if this is considered "confirmed" or not, and we are one of the teams having trouble with that port, but we are currently able to use the TTL port as a TX-only port using that pin configuration... (RX is where we're having trouble)

We're interested in the Rx as well. Hopefully, Innovation First will shed some light on this, even if according to the documentation they "do not support this feature."

I guess I might have to change my signature quote - maybe it can't be fixed in the programming after all!

Re: TTL pins

We too are having trouble receiving. I have been on the phone with IF and they say they will be continuing to research the issue on Monday. I'll post anything I learn.
