**FIRST EMAIL**/Autodesk Tutorials and Chairman's Award Submission Information

Greetings Teams:

Autodesk Tutorials

Three new tutorials have been produced by Autodesk to help you learn Autodesk Inventor® Professional 7. The tutorials are taught by Phil Dollan, an instructor with the British Columbia Institute of Technology. The tutorials feature these three sessions:

Session 1: What's new in Autodesk Inventor Professional 7
Session 2: Workflow and Autodesk Vault
Session 3: Tube and Pipe

The sessions can be found at http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...112&id=1047962

You will also find the online tutorials for 3ds max taught by Ted Boardman.

Chairman's Awards Submissions

Teams should be aware that all Chairman's Award Submissions will be grouped with others being judged at each regional event and e-mailed to the Chairman's Award Judge Panel prior to the event. The judges have asked for the ability to read these submissions before they get there, in order to spend more time with each team. Many e-mail servers are limited in space, they can only accept a certain number of MB before they are full and cannot be accessed. This will vary from judge to judge, some will be 1 MB, others might be 10 MB.

One tip: if you are using images in your submission, scale down the resolution prior to inserting them in the word document.

We want the judges to be able to get and view your submission. If it won't go in their mailbox it won't get viewed. FIRST recommends that you try to keep your submission under 1MB, and will be unable to accept submissions that are 10MB or higher.

Thank you for your understanding.

Go Teams!
