Motors.. and more motors.. How many on your 2004 bot?

As this building season ends, most of us have a general idea of how our robots are going to look.. I'm curious to see how many motors everyone used this year, as the game is significantly more complicated than last year.. (servo included)

341 used a grand total of 3 motors......... last year- this year we're already up to 11, and only one servo too.. we probably will need to lose some weight..

You could always mention which motors you used for what functions, I bet we'll be seeing alot of window/van door winches

As of now...

6 motors (2 chips, 2 fp's, 2 globes)

6 pnematic cylinders

there are pics here in the gallery and you can see where they all go on drivetrain

and arm

last year we had 6 motors too, but only one pnematic cylinder

Re: Motors.. and more motors.. How many on your 2004 bot?

If I'm not mistaken, our robot's software thinks there are ten motors, one compressor, and four pneumatic actuators. One of the actuators isn't included on the actual robot, but the software doesn't care.

Ten motors. And I thought we were designing something simple this year.
