Teacher encouraged pranks are the best kind though

I was on our High Schools newspaper staff and because of this had a great relationship with the schools print shop. There is only one print shop for our entire district of at least 10 different campuses mind you. One of the assistant principals had taken to censoring our newspaper and it was getting to be quite a pain to have to edit out stuff every single issue. So, I go out to deliver the disks so the paper can be printed and Shirley, the head lady in the copy shop, informs me they are about to throw away over 6 YEARS of hole punches that had been sitting in the machine, you know the little circles after they 3 hole punch the pages, needless to say I call all the teachers that have been mad at this principal and they agree that we should let all those little circles go to waste, I had about 20 some trash bags full, I couldn't even fit them all in my Honda accord at once. He is still finding little circles to this day, one teacher even took every box of tissue he had stored in his office and put some in between each tissue in the box. It took days to clean up, and the campus police never suspected the teachers or me. In addition to the little circles the teachers used a fan to blow up trash bags and packed the office full of them once all the dots were in place, you couldn't even walk in. Not that exciting but the mess it made was amazing.

mnkysp6353...

If I have learned anything, it's not too be too proud of a prank Ever. And especially before you've done it...You notice how Dave never admitted to doing any of those, and if you notice on those sites, no one ever admitted to doing those.

My other thought...now, are the best pranks the ones that are truely on the spot and without planning, or the ones that require a large amount of planning? The world may never know...

For whatever reaosn, I have a feeling that something with much planning will happen this year. Don't ask me why, I just think so. We shall se if it happens.

I meant at Herndon, but I guess it applies to this situation as well...

Anonymity is a virtue. Or at least it should be. If it's a harmless little prank, like replacing someone's mouse ball with a fireball, or changing their Brad Pitt wallpaper to some really hideous person's picture, well, who cares if they knew who did it (just be prepared for the follow up prank). But if you are doing something like having a "delivery person" from a "florist shop" deliver a long-stemmed rose box full of live crickets to someone at work (at a restaurant during the dinner rush), do not let your name be connected with it at all (the person who did this to this day regrets doing that to those poor crickets and would never do so again). And especially keep your name out of any prank that will result in the police or security being called in, even if there is no legal action that can be taken against you, I'm assuming it would be very embarrassing. If you are connected to it, you have to take the consequences be what they may.

As to whether spontaneous pranks or planned out pranks are better, it depends on the prank.

Oh, and Wetzel, repeat after me, "Nothing is being planned." Do you want to get them in trouble?

my sophmore year they buried the rock for the senior prank. the rock at the school I went to was about the size of a VW mini bus... they had to get heavy machinery to do it.. but it was done.... And my sophmore year the *coughcoughidiotseniorscoughcough* let out a goat in the hallways. Normaly this would be a fairly harmless prank.. but unbeknownst the them... the goat was pregnant.. and ended up going into labor outside of the door of my 5th period Algebra II class... call that a class distraction. Unfortunatley - though this is my senior year- I have no school to prank...

WHY would any sane person ask, and WHY would anyone answer, in reference to this thread???

For those of you that are left in wonder, I will explain.

Now, if any prank is done against dave (I am just abit smarter than to think i could get away with a prank against dave) he will know it was you.

Now, for the second part.

You shouldn't have answered because now, if a prank against dave happens, revenge pranking will be taken against you.

Just a thought.

Heather -

Find me at the Buckeye Regional, and we can talk (I'll be there without my team, so we won't be overheard).

Bring a neoprene wet suit, five pounds of chicken feathers, a "Zagnut" bar, three Slinkies, and a roll of duct tape.

I have a few ideas....

-dave

p.s. oh, yeah, and bail money (just in case)
