Re: Locking the Fisher Price Motor
Our team used a combination between the window motors and the fisher-price motor. The window motors will NOT backdrive. But they weren't quite powerful enough to overcome all the friction in our system to be used alone though. So we now have two window motors and a fisher-price motor all hooked together to lift us up. We don't have any complicated gearing or anything. It is a very simple and elegant design. I haven't seen it yet, but I have heard that it works very well and very fast.
