handling loose wires/hose/cable

We should've a couple of our long wires into a spring like piece of tubing. We had to use a lot of snot though. I think we may use a spool of sorts for cable. I didn't see isn't. But we use another spring on our cable so it is tensioned both ways. Maybe a pully with the wire attached to a spring on the side of it.

We use only as much slack as is necessary, make sure it's 100% clear of any possible pinch points, and wrap it with plastic spiral wrap.

the point is that you must have significant slack when connecting something that raises to more than double its initial height.

Some sort of elastic system? Please elaborate. In the past, we've used large loops held down by surgical tubing (a different sort of elastic system, perhaps), and have had no problems.

Our team, 393 Full Metal Jackets, also had a similar occurance. We simply just used thin P.V.C. pipe that is light weight, and connected the tubing to the side of the arm by making braces out of thin aluminum. Cheap, effecient, and easy.
