Possible Robot controller problems
We've been having a problem with our robot. Whenever we try to get the control scheme working, it goes haywire. We've tried to use both the tether and the radio, yet it does the same thing both times. There are tiny spots in the axes that allow the motors to turn, but only in random directions and only until we move the stick away from that spot. We tried to reverse turning the speed controller around but that only made them turn non-stop until we moved the stick, which made them move faster. We've calibrated the wheels on the top and side of the stick. As far as i can tell we've tried everything short of re-programming the robot (which is not something we are capable, as we only have 3 team members total and none with programming knowledge).
Thanks in advance for your help. m. palermo team 943 Volga, SD |
