What is your team giving out this year?

I am just wondering what some other teams are giving out at the regionals, whether it be buttons, lanyards, or other things.

Re: What is your team giving out this year?

The same silver dog tags on the small shot bead chains as last year. They were pretty hot items. We almost ran out within the first day.

Re: What is your team giving out this year?

Team 217 is gonna go wild as we always do. We're keeping old favorites such as the chicken keychains and buttons. We're still maintaining our "Tattoo Crews" at Detroit and Chicago regionals, and at Nationals too, so PREPARE TO GET TATTOOED!!! Unfortunately, we had to ditch the Peeps this year because of the "No Candy" thing, so instead we have a few surprises that I'm gonna keep up my sleeve.

Oh, PS - I love those dogtags.

Beads, buttons, and, yes, Sparky Wrist Bands! They will be returning! So all you Sparky lovers out there need to go to Champs or VCU and get a few!

Re: What is your team giving out this year?

If you've seen the recent pictures of our robot, you'll probably notice all of the 2" holes in the 3x3" aluminum. We might be giving the byproduct of that process out, at SVR. The first bunch were done with a 2" chassis punch, which distorts them, much like 1/8" pringles. A majority were done with a 2" metal cutting holesaw.

The chassis punch series is a limited edition, and should be worth somewhere around $200 a piece, after our team has gone under. That's what my financial advisor says, anyway...

We have buttons (of course) pens, bendies and t-shirts that we made (not the tie-dyes).

Team 836 is giving out Mardi Gras beads, buttons, and possible safety glasses.

I had 30lbs of mardi gras beads sent from Mississippi. LOL

The same tattoos we've been handing out for the past couple of years...
Maybe something else. We haven't really thought about it...

Re: What is your team giving out this year?

We are giving out doggy bags, some t-shirts, and awards to others teams. The awards are very cool (and a suprise) so if you want to see them come by and play with one. We have Dave Lavery to thank, and I am not sure he even knows it?

Shawn

Re: What is your team giving out this year?

For Beach Cities Robotics we are giving out buttons, hairbands, little finger skateboards, and info cards. And our Gracious Preofessionalism poster, as well as handing out a Gracious Professionalism Award to one team in Phoenix and LA...I think we are still trying to figure out what we are going to be doing about nats. Be on your best behaviour and help those teams that need it, and if you are nominated, you could win! lol...ok, that was advertising, did it work?

Re: What is your team giving out this year?

Well.. Here is my idea, that i havn't presented yet. We have planty of screwup parts, scraps and other miscellaneous aluminum misfits lying around the shop. We should stamp our team number into them, put them on chains and give them away. OSHA would not approve of giving out long dangly thigns that go around the neck at robotics competitions. The other handout i prototyped is polished lacquered 1.5" diameter neodymium magnets with our team logo on them. Another idea is lightup pens.
