Hi this is Tom from team 69! I drive the base of our robot and we are greatly looking forward to attending this regional!!! What are the "things to do" while we are there?

A copy of the Southern California Regional Visitors Guide was e-mailed to your team contact. A few bounced and I don't know which ones. Your team might have been one of those that bounced, or your team leader decided not to share it with you. A lot depends on where you are staying, but there are suggestions in the Visitor Guide.

Due to financial constraints, there will be no Team Party. However the San Diego teams are organizing an informal event at Universal CityWalk for Friday night. The BeachBot's are planning to repeat our Saturday night get together at the 3rd Street Prominade. For both events your team just shows up and hangs out in these popular places. Wear your team uniforms so we know who you are!

lol, j/k. We went to the third street promenade last year like Chris said and it was a blast. We plan to do it again this year.

i visited the hermosa beach area last year around the february months... and found that there was quite a lot to do. i myself went to the promenade, and had a blast! so-cal is deff. an awesome place, oh, and dont forget to pack some shorts!
